          Syed Jaaved Ahmed Jaffrey (born 4 December 1962) is an Indian actor, dancer,[2][3] and comedian who has appeared in Hindi films and television shows.

          He is the son of the comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March, 2014 and contested the 2014 Indian general election from the Lucknow constituency, finishing fifth.[4]

          Personal life

          Jaffrey is the son of comedian Jagdeep.[5] He was born on 4 December 1962 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India (present-day Mumbai).

          He married in 1991 and has two sons and a daughter, including Meezaan.
